I have very recently did the jailbreak on my iPhone 3g with the latest software updated.
Downloaded Customize 2 and although Customize opens on my phone I cannot get any of the theme pages etc to open for me to download them.
Is the anything else that I need to download to get Customize to operate fully.
Any assistance to overcome this problem would be very much appreciated.

The last time that I looked, Customize was down. It hadn't worked since the last firmware upgrade, unfortunately. It's too bad. It did some things really nicely. You'll have to use Winterboard for customizing which is very powerful, but is less user friendly for beginners.

Thank you for the links. I was already using Winterboard but only with downloaded themes. I'll try to make some of my own :)

You're welcome! There's also a new app on Cydia called WbApp (WinterBoard app) that tries to put a GUI front-end on Winterboard. It seems interesting, but I haven't played it enough to figure it out. It has some great options if you want to use the Weather Widget to include weather info on your customized screens.
 
Leave Customize and Kate alone. Extremely buggy apps, as in freeze your iPhone and require a restore.
