Somebody suggested I ask this in the "Hacks" section ...

I was wondering if there is a way, or if there is an app, that allows one to select a sound and number of vibrations depending on if it is a call vs. mail vs text. One of the features I miss most from my BlackBerry is the ability to select the number of vibrations by message source. This way I did not even have to look at my phone when the phone is in mute mode and I knew if it was mail, voice mail, text or a call. I do not think this is native iPhone functionality - is there an app that can help?

Thanks!

ToneFX's is a program you can download through Cydia that allows you to change your alert tones... I don't know of an add on to change vibrations for alerts. I'm sure you could SSH in and add something.
