If anyone uses SideTrack, is there a way to recode it to map out the corner tap regions on to different regions on the track pad? i want to make it so that the bottom strip consists of distinct buttons.

Im a mechanical engineer, doing some mods with my 12" powerbook. i can teach myself the necessary circutry involved, but ive got no programming experience...ouch! so if uve got any ideas, try to speak slow and condesendingly so i can understand! Thanks so much!

I don't use SideTrack, but I did a little research for you. It looks like SideTrack is commercial software and is not freely modifiable; in other words, even if you knew how to program, the source code is not available for you to make the changes you want.

Your best bet is contacting the developer that makes SideTrack and asking them to include this feature in a future release.

thanks so much for ur effort! i emailed the company, or rather the guy, Alex Harper, who's project this is. hopefully its a quick fix and he wouldnt mind doing it for me. id be willing to pay the for program if he could do it to.

Aside from Sidetrack, are there other programs anyone knows of that allow u to remap and control trackpad functions?
