Millions? Really? I don't know what it says about Android, but I know what these posts say about you.
So, you discount the thousands of people that constantly roam the Jailbreaking section of this site waiting for a jailbreak, but use the stupidly outrageous number "millions" of people that wait for a CM build for their Android phone before buying? Think about that for a second.
May I remind you, the S4 has been a great seller, yet the bootloader is STILL locked on AT&T and Verizon. Sure, the devs found a way around it with Loki on the early software, but if you accepted the update a few weeks after launch, you now can't root or ROM your phone. Does that stop people from buying it? No.
Why? Because the average person HAS NO IDEA what CyanogenMod is. If you walked up to 10 people on the street and asked them what it was, they would have no idea.
I'm on a LOT of tech forums and cell phone forums, and I can honestly say I've not seen one person say "well, I'm holding off on buying until there's a CM build for that phone". Unlike here, where it's nearly every day that you see someone say they're holding off on either getting the 5S or updating their older iPhone to iOS 7 until there's a jailbreak available (I've already seen one or two in the "iOS 7 is out" thread).
Think before you speak, please, and keep your Apple fanaticism in the proper forum instead of trying to start arguments here.
