the videorecorder3g you can convert the videos to mp4 right on your phone and save more HD space

im guessing the quality of the video is the same on both programs?

you can't really go wrong with either one. the format options of vr3g are nice, but not really worth paying for over cycorder.

Did Cycorder finally allow sharing of the videos via email or direct to YouTube? Because if not, I don't understand how Cycorder would beat VR3 which has those features. To have to get behind a computer, SSH into the phone, find the files, get them out, etc. is a major PITA to me.

you cant upload to youtube with videorecorder3g anymore.

the quality in cycorder is better/quicker as its better to convert on your computer then it is on the phone as vr3g lets you.

tried both. perfer cycorder.

waiting on the hack to let you open cycorder using the camera app and the toggle switch.

Easiest way to get videos off iPhone from Cycorder:

1)Download Pixelpipe (free from Appstore)

2)Download PPVideoEnabler from Cydia (just search for it)

3)Go into PPVideoEnabler, enable Cycorder videos for Pixelpipe, and VOILA!

No SSH'ing required.

*side note* You will have to sign up for Pixelpipe but you can enter anything.

hmm, just gave this a go and it deleted all my cycorder vids! i checked in pixelpipe and they are not there... so its either moved them somewhere that pixelpipe cant see or they are gone

download Filezilla, setup account as SFTP, enter your iphone ip address, user's name root, password, done!

well i cant really use videorecorder because it crashes at the splash screen and takes me back to the springboard, it seems better (being able to upload to youtube)
but any help?
