Cydia App: Mobile terminal

Anyone use this? Is it possible to send it a Control-C????

There are two ways:

From the keyboard, hit 123 and then #+=. See that bullet point? Hit that, then go back to ABC and this hit C.

Or, when you touch the screen, there are some controlls that show up. One of them is ^C which sends a control C command.

EDIT: It used to be there, so the only way is the bullet point and then c.

Thanks a lot. Now... is there anyway to ssh? I can ssh into my phone but not out of it

Can I ssh from my iPhone to view files on my laptop? I have mobile terminal on my phone, can I open mobile terminal and type ssh@<ipaddress> where ipaddress is my laptop ip address ? How would I exit if I wanted to get out of ssh from my laptop and return to the command line on my iPhone?

Yeah, but it would actually be more like:

ssh jamesapp@192.168.1.199

Assuming jamesapp is your username and 192.168.1.199 is your Mac's IP address. Also, you'll need to go to System Preferences -> Sharing and turn on "Remote Login"

How do I exit? If I am remotely logged in can I type exit from mobile terminal
and disconnect from my laptop? Or should I click and hold till I see exit and then hit that?

Typing exit should log you out from your computer.
