iPhone Cydia app to disable DFU Mode?

Just curious.... why would you want to do that? But im gonna say no you cant (i could be wrong).

I'm pretty sure that you're right but you never know, amazing stuff has been done with JB.

Essentially, it would prevent a thief from turning the phone off if they managed to pry it from my cold dead hands, at least until they got home to take it apart (which would give me time to get their location) and retrieve the phone.

If a person is stupid enough to steal an iPhone, odds are they don't know about Find My iPhone or iCaughtYou. So they prob wouldn't know how to put a phone in DFU mode haha

There is no way to disable DFU mode short of removing one of the device's buttons.

This. It's a hardware feature, not software.

Not possible.
The dfu mode is hardcoded in the hardware to be entered for many good reasons.
