Ok so I just jailbroke my iPhone 2g (3.0) for the first time today using RedSnow for Mac... Everything seemingly installed fine. I only installed Cydia (did not install Icy or unlock phone). I opened Cydia and installed the 2 Essential Upgrages when prompted. Then I decided to install the Categories app first. I installed it and then once my phone restarted, I noticed that Categories was nowhere to be seen on the Springboard. So of course I go to open up Cydia again to try and reinstall Categories, however Cydia crashed a couple seconds into the loading process. Since then, Ive tried to open Cydia numerous times and even rejailbroke my phone a few times and still I cant get Cydia to open. Do I have any other options besides restoring my phone??? My only real problem with restoring my iPhone is that I have about 25gb of music in my Itunes and only 7gb room on my iPhone. So Ive chosen my favorites from my Itunes and loaded my iPhone with them. The thing is, im afraid of syncing and losing all the songs on my iPhone and then having to manually add them to my iPhone again. Sorry if im not makin much sense but im tired as hell and have been tryin to figure this out for the last couple of hours. Any help or info is well appreciated. :D

Damn i was afraid of that... What would be the easiest way to transfer or copy a playlist of all the songs i have on my iphone so that i can put them back on without a hassle once i finish restoring my iphone? It will be a humongous pain in the ass if i have to manually search my itunes library for each song on my phone and add them again one by one.

is there anyway I can see my sources on Cydia if it keeps crashing?? What file is it if you SSH into it?

To be honest, I have no clue. I just jailbroke and used Cydia for the first time yesterday and it only worked for a few minutes, so im still new to all of this.

Anybody have any ideas or suggestions on how i can transfer the playlist of my iphone music to my itunes?? Ive tried numerous applications however almost all of them limit the amount of songs that can be transferred... and seeing as I only plan on doing this once I really dont wanna spend the $ to buy the full version.

Also I was wondering if maybe there is a way I could simply transfer like an Itunes playlist file from my iphone (if theres even such a thing) since all of the music is already on my Itunes on my mac....

(In case anybody is lost, im gonna restore my iphone and im gonna lose my music. So Im tryin to avoid the process of manually adding song by song to my iphone again)
