Cydia does not working after installing on another phone

I installed cydia on my 3gs and it was working so then my dad wanted his 3g jailbroken so i did it as well and when his cydia loaded he got the error code "error refreshing data" then on my 3gs I got the same thing, Is the reason this has happend because I jailbroke two phones on one computer?

If so how can I fix this

lol lol lol. (sorry) no it is not. either your internet isnt on or cydia is down.
Cydia is run off of servers and occasionally they need maintenance or goes down accidentally so the Cydia app cannot collect new data from it. You should still be able to browse and download from sources not affected.
