Hello everyone,

If I already have my 3.0 SHSH saved with Cydia, do I still need to save my 3.1.2 files with Cydia also?

Or is just having 3.0 good enough?

And with only having 3.0 does that mean if anything happened where I needed to restore to an older firmware I'd only be able to go allllll the way back to 3.0 and not back to anything after that?

Hope that makes sense enough for a easy to understand answer! haha:D

Thanks in advance everyone!

Does the make my life easier come up. If so, I would certainly do so.

If not, then you should be covered from everything 3.0 and up unless we are told otherwise.

Your ECID isn't dependent on your firmware version, it's assigned to your device. :) With that said, Saurik only stored the SHSH files for 3.0 I believe. The files make it easier to restore so if Saurik is storing 3.1.2 SHSH's, I'd say go for it since if you had to restore, you'd need to go back to 3.0. Can't hurt. :)
