cydia: error fetching new datas/packages

hi,

i have 3.1 iphone 2g and jailbreak from pwnage 3.1.3. I been having problems that cydia wont install any updates. on the start screen it tells me errors fetching data. i restore couple times already and still have the same problems.

can anyone help?

Does Cydia tell you which repositories it can't refresh?
I haven't jb'd to 3.1 yet, but for the last few days Cydia has been unable to refresh mcleaner.com (invalid signature) and macciti.com/cydia-file not found.
I had this happen with the Rupert Gee repository a few weeks ago. I deleted it and then Cydia refreshed normally.

Same here. Getting caches failure when loading packages. It also takes forever to load packages. I'm using OS 3.0

These repositories seem to always go up and down.

One day it's this repo, 2 days later it's a different one.

This is a problem on the repository server end. Nothing you do on your iPhone will fix it. Be patient and hope with the rest of us that ispazio comes back up.

Re-JB has nothing to do with whether the repositories are up or down.

Just like with a web browser, if a page is down, the browser can access it.

Cydia is the same, if the repo is down, Cydia can't access it and reports an error, just as your browser would.

Be patient, they will come back up.

In fact, iSpazio is back up today after being offline for about a day and a half.

If it's a repo you added, you can delete it then try re-adding it.
