CYDIA help

Ok i tried to ass a source and got an error !!!! Grr well after that error i was trying to search through cydi, EVERYTHING is gone.. so i went back to black rain and just tried to re install it to get the packages !!! DIDNT work ! my luck... well my questions is what the hell can i do to get cydia working again or do i have to restore, and if i do how do i restore safely
