So yesterday, I had set my device's date back to 18 February cuz i wanted to update GBA4iOS ( it requires you to set back the date to before 19 february when installing or updating ) , and after updating I forgot to set it back to the original date .
And today i realized the date was wrong , so I corrected it . I noticed that cydia wasn't updating . My cydia last Recent change was on 26 Feb 10.28 a.m ..
And now it's 27 Feb almost 6 pm and still no change in the recent changes tab ..
I think the change in date messed something up ..
I know a restore will fix this , but i don't want to get in the hassle of restoring .
Anyone else has experienced this ever? or someone could tell how to fix this? or even if i can re-install cydia?
Any help would be appreciated . Thanks :)

You could have downloaded the emulator from cydia, which wouldn't have required the date change.

As to how to fix it, I don't really know. If you don't want to restore and rejailbreak, use iLex RAT to perform a restore (you will keep your jailbreak but it will delete everything else)

Hey looked into this was happening to me and didn't want to restore either so went on ilex rat troubleshoot cydia through mobile terminal then when that was done hit fix cydia had to delete 4 items which it does it for you then went to cydia and it's up working again so far

Can you explain a bit more what do you mean by troubleshoot cydia through mobile terminal ?
And when you used iLex rat does it remove all your appstore apps, cydia tweaks etc?
Thanks :)

EDIT: Nevermind , it just fixed itself ; refreshed cydia and changes just showed up . :)
Thanks to everyone who tried to help :)

Yes I can explain just in case it happens again ilex rat it will pull up the menu when you troubleshoot it is number 4 I believe it will run through the process of everything then when it's done it will bring you to the menu again after that hit number 5 and it will go through all the tweaks and system files through out your phone that corrupts your phone after it's done it'll ask you to reboot if you have something that downloaded with a tweak like ex. Wee loader or boot strap it will prolly remove those it dosent delete anything important I did it twice just to make sure it fixed it and haven't had a problem actually helped a lot it refreshes now every hour instead of every three between about 9 repos
