iPhone Cydia problem

Hey! Cydia have started to bug for me. When I look in the sections page then it starts to load and nothing happens so I need to hold the lockbutton and homebutton down to make anything, so a restart obviously. So I wonder if there's any way to save the iOS 6.1 "update" thing? I'm sure I did something similar to some of my previous iPhones. I want to be available to do this so that I can always go back to 6.1 and thi way be available to jailbreak again if the problem persists. I hope I wrote so that you could understand.

Edit: Also the screen started to flicker after this happened. So I needed to turn the phone off completely again and then it stopped.
