iPhone Cydia program 'tetherme' to get data and MMS but apn resets??

hi folks

here is the problem i am having. i have a verizon phone that i am using with an AT and T SIMS. got the data and MMS working via 'tetherme', but the settings default back to 'phone' instead of the att and t apn settings that i keep re-entering. Couldn't find much info about this on the web. Question: How do i keep the apn settings from re-setting?? Resets to 'phone' setting every few days.

note: i am not using tetherme to tether to another device. only to give me 'network settings', which were otherwise unavailable.

The default APN for any iPhone before the 6 and 6 Plus as well as most Android phones is "phone". You shouldn't have to change anything at all.
