Hi all,

I was just wondering if it was possible to hide installed packages (including under the advanced view). I let my little brother use my phone sometimes and I know he likes to mess around with Cydia; I'm just worried if there was/is any way a virus could/can get installed.

If I list all of the installed packages under Manage -> Packages -> Advanced, are there any packages or apps that are hidden/ not shown ever?

I really have no idea what you're talking about. You want to hide your installed packages so your brother can't install a virus on your phone? That doesn't make sense.

No, she's affraid her "little brother" will install a package behind her back on her iphone to snoop around:D
So she wants to know if "he" does that to her iphone will she be able to tell or if there is a way for the "little brother" to install something and the hack not to show up on the installed packages section.

No, I don't want to hide the packages. I actually was hoping there'd be no way for that to happen. I was wondering if installed packages COULD or could not be hidden so that, in the case that my brother accidentally downloaded and installed something that he shouldn't have, I would know and be able to take action.

A little cynical...but perfect :p
