yesterday i found a file on a server of mine which my friend uses to host his upload site.

i was curious where i could download this custom os?
or is it still in development? if yes, where can i find info about it, and when will it be done?

what does this have to do with the iphone, let alone any part of apple? this shouldnt even be posted on this website.
 
and do you know how extremely hard it is to find a program to install a different os on the iphone? also, do you know that by doing this, you can literally turn your iphone into a brick if you do something wrong? did you also know this voids your warranty? how about how you wont be able to call people or use the phone as a phone because of this os? how about writing the right drivers for bluetooth and wifi to work? and did you know that i dont think this is that desirable? and also did you know that jailbreaking can do the exact same thing as this? did you know if you really want it that bad you can make a theme for it, instead of completely bricking your phone? did you know that this isnt worth the time and effort to make this os? also did you know that your next response is going to be something like "oh"?

Who told you it was a custom iPhone OS? I have never heard of this "custom OS" for the iPhone and a Google search turns up absolutely nothing on it. I think your friend is pulling your leg.
 
my friend can't be joking me, he owns the website, i own the server, he doesn't even know that i can check files

and i thought it was a custom os because it had the name CyrkOS
where OS = OS and Cyrk came from Cydia

when i googled i did came on cyrkus but that was a shop for cydia apps

so nobody knows where to download?
 
So you think it's a legitimate iPhone OS simply because of its name and that your friend doesn't know you can check those files? That's it?

Look, I've been following the iPhone since the day it was announced and I have never heard of anyone creating a custom OS for it. (I am familiar with Cydia and have jailbroken a number of iPhones over the years as well.) This OS does not exist and I honestly can't see what makes you think it does.

Believe it or not, there's no physical law that prevents people from ending words with "-os" when those words describe things that are not operating systems.

What exactly was uploaded to your site? Is it just the picture you posted? Why, even if we grant that this is an actual screenshot of some kind of software, do you assume it's an operating system for the iPhone, especially when you specifically said the file came from someone who doesn't have an iPhone?? Can you rule out the possibility that it's a theme or window manager for Linux or something?

If your thought process makes any sense at all, you're not explaining it very well...

Did you know you capitalize the first letter of a sentence? Did you know that you should not lecture people? Did you know that you sound rude? Did you know that your post is not helpful at all? Did you know that he might already know about all of the stuff you said? Did you know? WELL DID YOU??!
