I have a really old iPad 2 running iOS 9.3.5. I use it with a dedicated weather app and it's the only app installed. Over the past few months now it's become an almost daily event that the Apple ID sign-on request is displayed. I enter the password correctly and it accepts it. And a day or so later here we go again. I have iCloud disabled and just about everything else disabled. All I need running is Wifi and this weather app. Are there any solutions to this?

Is your iPad cellular based? If so, have you tried using the weather app with cellular data?
