Daisy Chain question

I'm not sure if this is possible but hoping someone had some info for me. Wondering if it is possible to connect an external Lacie HD through firewire 400 to computer and then connect another Lacie through firewire 800 to the first Lacie.

As far as I know it would work. I can't see why it wouldnt. Obviously it wont be any faster than FW 400 since thats whats going to the computer.

yeah should work no problems, but again you wont get any benefits of the FireWire 800, might as well chain them through FireWire 400

Apart from they have different connectors I dunno?
I've had a few minor daisy-chaining issues in the past. (And no, i'm not talking about the new "teen" craze!)
