Not sure what happened, but the screen of my Macbook Air looks like this. The only thing i did differently today before this happened was use that cleaning spray on the screen.

Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

My bet's a faulty or loose internal display cable. You might try taking the bottom off and reseating it if you're comfortable with it.
Look up the guide on Ifixit.com.

Not sure what happens, don't you shouldn't use a cleaning stay, just use bottled water or eyeglass cleaner that has water only.

Maybe you pressed too had on the screen?
