I went to my buddie's place to use is compute because I do not own a PC and needed to jailbreak really badly.
Now I just got home and I realize I skipped the "restore from iCloud backup" page during the iPhone's original set up.

After a quick online search, it said (referring to iOS 6 or 7) that the only way to trigger a restore from iCloud backup was to erase all contents and settings, but I assume that would also remove my jailbreak so not an option. Is there a way i iOS 8 or am I condemned to rejailbreak?

Once you set up iPhone, erase everything and restore is the only option for local iTunes backups as well. Yes, you unfortunately will have to rejailbreak. Pangu makes it easy though.

Is there a way to restore only pics from an icloud backup? That's the only data I really need when restoring
