Damn, I'm tempted to getting the ipad!

When it was released I said it was useless because you have to carry a bag for it everywhere you go, can't just put it in your pocket like the iphone...

well picking it up and playing with it at best buy got me thinking.... Damn I kinda want one now LOL.

I don't really care for music with it, as my iphone will do just fine. Movies I have my laptop. Photos is my number one priority and games. I'm a full time photographer and think this is a perfect solution for having a "book" to carry with me to show clients and it allows me to update instead of excessive printing cost and what not...

Anyone else use this as their "portfolio"?

How are the photos? does itunes automatically downgrade the photos to fit the ipad like it does with the iphone? or does the quality remain intact?

I say buy one. If you don't like it or need your money back, trust me, they ar VERY easy to re-sell!
 
I'd say get it, for what you want it would be perfect to show clients pictures, previous work etc.

I don't have one but from what I read it'd be perfect for what you want it for, especially a great tool to show off all your work.

and if you don't like it their will also be a re-sell market

umm if i had an iPhone i wouldn't get it...

but in real life i don't...

so i would get it! no doubt.:rolleyes:

If you have an iPhone

really....the iPhone is much superior to the iPad wi-fi

that's why i'm getting the iPad 3G...
 
I wasn't going to get one either, but all the hypes got me. I picked up a 64gb Wi-Fi on launch day after going to 6 different places. I really love my iPad. Not only can I surf the web from the comfort of my bed, but I sync photos with Aperture. If you geotag photos, it's a joy looking at it on the iPad.

I'd say get one because I know you won't regret it.
