Damn internet sharing ****ed up!

Right, so I want to get to the internets on my iTouch, so I setup the iMac's internet sharing so I could use it instead of a router, and it appeared to work well... But every time I log out or shut down my Mac, when I boot it up again I have to turn internet sharing off and on again or it wont work! My iPod touch wont even find the network!

Any help?

Just curious, if you're close enough to your imac that your itouch gets internet, why not just use the imac?

Use Installer or browse the internets while watching TV in the living room... Or someone else can use the iMac while I use the iTouch... Also SSH.
