As much as I like the Mac, sometimes Apple does some really annoying things,
Apple must have hired Microsoft engineers.

I never like the Time Machine, so I never use it and never pay much attention to it. Recently, I am working on a video project, which requires I load my store a lot of video clips on a external drive so I can bring it to my client, but every single time , when I plug in the drive, Time Machine will nag about whether I want to use it as Time Machine backup drive, if it only asks once, that will be ok, but every single G**Da*** time, it gets really annoying!!! ,it makes me want to smash my Mac I did a search to see what I can do to stop it,
I tried this"com.apple.TimeMachineDoNotOfferNewDisksForBackup -bool YES"
but it doesn't help a bit, is there another way to stop the Time Machine from nagging?

Try
Code:
sudo defaults write com.apple.TimeMachine DoNotOfferNewDisksForBackup -bool YES
