iPhone Dark grey control center and launchpad background?

Hi so I updated to ios 12. Now the launch
Pad for my iPhone 8 and control center background is darker grey! Don’t like it.

Is there anyway to get a lighter color for both? Thanks!

Do you have increased contrast turned on in Accessibility?
 
I found that I had Accessibility > Reduce Motion turned on. Turning that off solved the problem for me.
