Dark mode vs day mode

Does dark mode significantly save battery power versus using day mode? On current iOS and ip12pm. Thanks!

No not significantly, At least according to all the tests out there

Dark Mode does benefit the iPhone models as they have OLED panels. With OLED panels each pixel emits its own light. if you have dark mode, then the majority of the pixels are turned off thus saving battery. Less pixels turned on = less power. For iPads/Macs, they use standard LCD screens so dark mode has no affect.

Yes, but not significantly. In real world use I bet nobody would notice the difference.
