macOS Dash Code Question: Embedding A Link

I can't seem to figure out how to make a link in one of the widgets I'm making, I'd like to either do it from a button or an image. If worse comes to worse even a test based link.

I'm kind of lost as to which language I should do it in, would it be java or html?

if it helps, i have the same problem, all ive gotten to is right clicking the text icon in the viewer on the left, going to events>onmouseclick which should bring up a dialog of what you want to do onmouseclick, but i havne got past that, as i know nothing of javascript

Bah, ignore just had a look at Dashboard and think I was wrong on that.
