Does anyone know how I can get dashboard back to the way it was in previous versions of os x (i.e. on top of the current "screen") and not on a solid background?

The way I use dashboard mostly involves taking notes on stuff on the screen (like phone numbers) or using the calculator on numbers in apps I'm using etc.

For me it's quite useless being on top of a solid background.

It would also be great if mission control would use more screen reel estate for my active stuff then i square in the middle (I don't use spaces etc.)

Other then that I freaking love Lion. Super speedy and the slow ram allocation from SL seems gone. Woohoo!

Sure just uncheck this option...

There is a checkbox or something for it in system preferences. Something like "Display dashboard as its own space." Uncheck that. I can't get the exact details because my Lion partition failed.

Edit: beat

Sweet! Thanks a bunch!

However I wish I could till have it as a "shortcut" in mission control anyway (now it disappeared). Not a big thing, I prefer active corners anyway.
