data and skype on phone...no voice

i'm thinking of trying to ditch my voice plan in favor of a data plan and using skype to make/receive phone calls and texts.

any thoughts? anyone else tried this? if so, how did it work for you?

Skype Calls work only on WiFi.

Good luck with that....the SMS does go out over 3g though
