Data counter going down instead of up..

I can't find anything on this issue at all, only issues similar is data counter going up, which is a seperate way of thinking in diagnosing that problem. Such as push, location settings, apps connecting etc etc.

But mine seems to go up, then the last time I restarted & unplugged the charger after a full charge while using it, and poof! It goes back down. Which can fool me out of up to 300 or 400mb!

Here are some screenshots. You can clearly see the time difference, I also made a call for a few min's to show the total call time going up, while data counter goes down.

that is really weird! does your phone provider have a website to tell you how much data you have used?

If you can reproduce the behavior, report it through Radar.

Yes but it doesn't give a total, it only shows every single you've connected & every kb. So you have to go through 15+ pages & add them all up!

Don't know if this is linked, but I can't manually bring up the network selection list with 3g enabled. As soon as I click search for networks, the 3g icon in status bar disappears & after a while it says cannot loan network list. But it works if I disable 3g.

This data counter problem is annoying, since I last reset the usage meter it's saying total of 71.6mb, this is after I restarted immediately after just seeing the download @ 83mb.

Iphone: 71mb
Network provider: 327mb

Would be priceless to convince my carrier to supply a letter statingmy iphone is accurate. Tried twice & failed.
