My M2 Mini is headed to the Genius Bar for a dead Ethernet Port and I'm wondering how to protect my personal data? I've already made a TM backup along with a CronoSync backup (home folder). But if I give my login info to the Genius, can they rummage through my document folder, etc? Should I delete that folder until I get the Mini back, and then re-install it from my backup?

I'm not too paranoid but want to be smart and careful....

Thanks for your suggestions!

Since an M Mac, can always turn on FileVault for extra measure. Should enable almost instantly as files are already encrypted and will just be encrypting the master encryption key.
