Data Recovery Software

Looking for a good data recovery software for restoring (recovering) photos from a backup (iCloud or computer). I see one mentioned quite a bit called "phone rescue".

A few questions:

1. Anyone have experience with that particular software ?

2. Are there others that may be better and/or cheaper ?

3. Will these softwares will work if I have 2 factor authentication on my devices ?
