data roaming OFF... trust it?

hello,

going to be traveling to korea for a little while... was planning on ejecting my sim card to prevent a thousand dollar bill... but now i submitted to new iphone software just for kicks... and now we can turn on data roaming...


... should i trust it? does it work?

The iPhone says "may..." so they can still come back and say it "may" not prevent data roaming 100%. But I would think it would be fine. The problem will be with the sim hacked phone, it probably will not work right at all with those.
