I am currently in the process of putting together a business plan and investor prospectus for a new business I am starting.
The Web site will require an extensive image databse, significant back end work and an easy to use shopping cart/checkout service that will service about 500 credit card orders a week when things are at full steam. Part of the shopping cart fulfillment will require working it in with a print fulfillment center. It will also need an interface/control panel for photographers to load in images in from shoots. Most of all, I have worked with a lot of web designer that do this type of thing, and most of their sites look like...err Windows™. We want something very elegant, but with a robust databse, if something like that is even possible.
