Wheeeeeeee!
I finally bought my first Mac on Friday
. However, this experience was not without problems I'm sad to say. After purchasing a 24" 2.4ghz iMac on Friday and experiencing my first unboxing experience, only one thing stood in the way of complete excitement.
One lone stuck pixel radiating a redness that was penetrating my skull.
Even though it was in the lower right section of the screen, the stuck pixel just wasn't going to do. So I lugged the defective iMac back to the Apple Store and walked out with a replacement after only 30 minutes and enduring Apple Store clerks jawing about how "they don't usually exchange for problems like this, but...." So now it's up and running and I'm happy.
There is one issue I'd like to throw out to everyone. Very randomly there is an audible clicking sound emanating from my speakers. It's sort of like the sound that happens when you unplug speakers from a computer that is currently on, but only one little "click" instead of a bunch. Anyone have an idea what this could be from?
