I'm running Dawn of War 2 through BootCamp on Windows 7 Ultimate on my iMac and wanted to know if anybody else out there is, and what kinda of fps your getting out of what graphic settings. For some strange reason my friend with an older iMac (with an ATI gfx card) is running higher graphics than me with the Nvidia 9400, not to mention I have more ram and a faster processor. I have to turn everything to low and the resolution to 1280x800 just to get a decent fps when there is a medium to large fight. My drivers are updated through Windows Update, and none of the nvidia drivers from their website seem to know what they are installing too. Even tried a manual install and still nothing. Does Windows through BootCamp and the 9400 have known issues?

I'm running DoW2 on my early 2008 MBP with an 8600 nvidia GPU. I usually run it at 1440x900 in a window with settings in the medium range. When it gets most intense, the frame rate does slow down noticeably, but still playable for me.

The 9400 is a low end GPU when it comes to gaming. It is much better than the Intel integrated graphics chip that it replaced, but it is less powerful than my 8600 that is at least 3 year old technology now. So what you're seeing is about right for that chip.

Please Help?

How did you get DOW and DOW2 to run on you iMac?

The game is very graphic intensive. My 4890 in my mac pro gets right above stable frame rates on everything maxed in intensive battles.

I get 15-20 fps in the Last Stand with my macbook pro 13 late 2009 and all settings on low. (9400, 4 GB ram).

I don't like DOW 2, the first one is so much better.
