I joined dBar for a while. Some really good modders over there, with some really beautiful design. Thing is, I found the whole 'exclusivity' thing to be so over the top pretentious that I stayed for a few days and never went back. I'm sure my account's been deleted now, since they say they delete inactive accounts after a few weeks.
The fact that I had to wait around in a chat room for 25 minutes until a mod came in, then chat with said mod for like a half an hour, just to get access to the forums, was frankly insane. Shouldn't we be encouraging sharing and kindred development, rather than trying to make a pretentious exclusive club?

once you jump thru the hoops, you're in (and there are no more hoops). some people want to keep their sites manageable, or private...their choice. but it's really not hard to join, and then all is well...
Did you get an updated version? iPhone 5 potentially? I found the one over on dbar but its a bit different.

I agree with you. I spent hours on their chat room during the last 3 days and so far I was not able to chat with a single admin in order to upgrade my account there. I'm not coming back there at all, that's so stupid and sincerely, worthless.
Bit strange i created an account there posted my screenshot gave my details and went over to chat room .. said hello there Magnet was there ( nice guy

You were just lucky then. I have been there and talked to a few people and so far, no admin even online or joined the conversation.
I don't need that anyway, in a world where you can find anything you want on Google, that's stupid to keep such a silly application like that for a single website.
