DCI-P3 and iTunes

It seems a massive part of Apple's plans isn't to increase the resolution of display's in its products, rather to improve the quality. And of the ways they are doing that is with the roll out of products with support for DCI-P3 Digital Cinema Color. The new 5K and 4K iMac, 9.7" iPad Pro, and iPhone (7 and 7 Plus) support Wide-Color DCI-P3 displays. And more are likely to come, such as an updated 12.9" iPad Pro and new 13" and 15" MacBook Pro. Apple has even given developers the ability to support Wide-Color in apps with IOS 10 (and presumably tvOS 10?). And furthermore the iPhone 7 and 7 plus cameras (and photos app) support Wide-Color DCI-P3, and RAW, Capture and editing.

With all this being said, Apple has said nothing about giving Wide-Color support to iTunes Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, or Apple Trailers. Seems like a missed opportunity seeing the Movie Industry (Theaters/Cinemas, and Studio's) already uses it. Ive tried looking to see if iTunes supports this standard and have come up with nothing.

Of course if iTunes already supports it and I just couldn't find info on it, then we can just delete this thread and call it a day.

I'm betting on the next TV we see P3 or REC 2020 with HDR. Would like to see take the full plunge and move to REC 2020 bypassing P3. Also even FAR more important would be the inclusion of HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Not sure how well Apple hardware supports this but you need to drive well past 1000 nits to take advantage.
