My macbook Air is on SBS 2008 environment. We receive every 15 mins from the SBS Server in the Event Viewer the message: Event ID 10009. DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer macbook.company.corp using any of the configured protocols.
We have this message only with the MAC.

DCOM Problem

Thank you for the reply Mr. Zarniwoop,
I already have read this issue but it is not my prob;em (i think) because the firewall on my mac is totally switched off. And Microsoft are treading this problem with the policy for an XP SP2 computer.
Normally I don't have any problem with the SBS 2008 network. We are workin with static IP addresses because of security. Only when I make a VPN connection trough our external firewall (Snap Gear), I have problems with the logging to the domain, because the firewall is not accepting DHCP.
Do you have any idea how it can be helpful for me?

Thank you
Stefan
