I have a 2010 MacMini Server with 4 GB of memory, but thinking to order a 2011 one.

I want to buy extra memory for both MacMinis at NewEgg or Amazon, as seen in other threads but ¿it's exactly the same memory chips? ¿Can I ordered together 4x4Gb DDR chips?

Thank you

I know the new RAM is DDR3 1333 but I think 2010 is going to be DDR3 1066. Im sure someone else will verify though.

Thank you

I've just found an old link to crucial store and found this:

http://www.crucial.com/store/listpa...ni (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz) DDR3 - Mid 2010

for 2010 Macmini

and this
http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Mac mini (Intel Core i7 2.7Ghz) DDR3 - Mid 2011

for 2011 Macmini

They are different chips, although the price is quite close.

Thank you

Yeah DDR3 RAM is starting to get priced nicely. I ordered my Mac Mini Server today on amazon and also ordered 8GB of Corsair memory for $48. Just so you know.
