I recently flashed my MacPro4,1 to MacPro5,1 in order to install X5680 procs along with 96GB of 1333MHz RAM.

With the CPU upgrade, the flashed MacPro5,1 should be reading the RAM at 1333MHz, however, my system is identifying it as 1066MHz.

Any ideas as to why?

Maybe I'm getting my memory wires crossed, but isn't 1066mhz the max a MP will run at? It'll have no problem accepting 1333mhz but it'll just downclock it.

Mine shows me 1333mhz and as the second poster mentions it only did this after resetting the PRAM.

depends on the CPU installed, if the CPU installed supports 1333mhz, and you have a 5,1 (or flashed 4,1 to 5,1 firmware) it'll run at 1333mhz.
