Is it worth upgrading the 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 to 32GB 2933Mhz in the i7/i9 model or just add 32GB 2666MHz for 40GB total?

Probably depends if the higher speed RAM will clock down to the lower speed and work with the other RAM if needed. If that’s true, and also the price premium isn’t too high, then why not give it a try? People on here will want to know... Will you notice it in reality, outside of benchmarks? Doubt it, but depends on your use case I suppose.
