will it actually deactivate it from your account? Or from whatever account it is on?? Pretty sure i know it's a no, just want verification.

CDMA phones are carrier activated, unlike GSM phones which are sim activated.

I would recommend caution when deactivating a CDMA phone if not using it on a CDMA carrier network.
