Hi,
I've had my iMac for a few years now, and while I love it, I work with video footage quite a bit, and stills. Not having access to a HDR monitor is getting a bit on my nerves so I have been looking at buying one for myself.
But I don't want it as a second monitor, I want it as the *only* primary monitor.
So I was wondering, is there a way to effectively deactivate the built in monitor, and have all power go to the external one (not even having the discrete one running, sort of like clamshell and the macbook)
