iPhone Deactivating the side button entirely?

I just want my Xs to do NOTHING when the side button is pushed for a second. I already deactivated siri and the accessibility options for the sidebutton, to do nothing when its pressed.
But every time I press the button voice control comes up with a loud sound, even in silent mode. Any tips or bug?

Turning off Siri just enables Voice Control. It's a bug in the beta. Have you reported it?

You cannot disable the hardware buttons. Turning off Siri just enables Voice Control. It's not a bug.

Yeah but its set to off in settings
