Hi All, need some help about a Macbook pro's battery.

The laptop was purchase 3 years ago. It haven't been used for 20 months. The laptop works fine but the battery won't be charged. The battery details show it only been charged for 11 cycles. Is there any way to re-active the battery? Thanks for any advices.

If you can't get the existing battery working again...

Depending on where you are in the world, Apple may offer a reasonably-priced battery replacement.

In the US, it's $199 and includes:
- a new, APPLE-LABELED battery
- installation
- a short warranty.

A pretty good deal, in my opinion.

You need to visit a brick-n-mortar Apple Store (NOT a "3rd-party provider").
Or, call Apple directly and have a talk with them.
