Hi all. Maybe someone can point me into a direction whether a repair is possible or even financially sensible.

I got a 12.9 inch 6th gen iPad Pro which was badly damaged in a burglary - the screen is completely smashed and definitely done for.
The burglar used extensive force on the device as you can see on the upper left battery package (dented).

Before removing the display I tried loading the battery and it used 5V and 300 to 800 amps changing rapidly.
Connecting it to a usb-c display would not give a display output and that's all I can tell right now.

My major concern is that the logic board has a dent on the shielding near the battery connector which could have killed it though I'm not sure... but buying a new display or battery is pretty expensive. I would do it if a repair was the sensible thing to do.

What do you think?

I have to say, “Why bother?” Your home owner or vehicle insurance should cover replacement if theft or burglary were involved.
