I left my iPad Pro to upload ios14 overnight and today it is dead. It won’t take a charge and I have no idea what might be wrong - I have tried different adapters as well as a 20000 mah battery to “kickstart” it but nothing......

Any suggestions!

What generation iPad Pro do you have? How old was it? Was the battery in good condition? Have you tried force restarting it?

18 months old, 12.6” screen. The battery was fine and the force restart where you press each volume button down in turn and then the top button? Yes.....tried that.

I suspect a hardware failure of some description, possibly power supply.....

My 7th gen iPad became unresponsive with a black screen twice now, most recently was a few days ago (I suspect iOS 14).

It did not need charging, but I turned it on and off 2-3x, plugged into the charger and waited a few minutes. Then I plugged it into my iMac and tried syncing through iTunes (Mac is running Sierra on purpose).

It came back on. Not sure what fixed it.

OP, try turning it on and off again and plugging it into the charger. If you have a Mac try syncing through iTunes etc.
