Dead pixel - O2

I've got a dead pixel on my 1 week old 3gs. If I take it back to O2 will they exchange it? Or would they send it off. Would an apple shop exchange it, it's only 1 dead pixel but it's right in middle of screen and it annoys me

1 dead pixel is well within specification.

Most likely, both O2 and Apple will tell you that they are terribly sorry, but you're not entitled an exchange, nor would they fix it, as it is within specification.

How the hell is 1 dead pixel within specification, 1 dead pixel is still 1 pixel not working as its meant to, and its right in the middle of the screen which is really annoying.
