I have no dead pixels but the 'y' key on my wireless keyboard is only intermittent. The are making me drive to m nearest apple authorized repairer to get it swapped out :(
See above for its effects: there are two missing y's in there
Should make m 4000 word paper that I'm writing tmrw very interesting!

I once tried exchange within 14 days. Apple Care did not ask a single question.

I had more than 10 dead/stuck pixels on the i7 I just received and sent it back. Several of them would change different colors (from red to green to blue). The largest spot looked like a small cluster of stuck pixels and was in the middle of the screen.

It was a little disheartening that, in addition to the cluster, there seemed to be multiple, tiny color changing pixels as well as some that just looked like faint grey dots. I'm hoping that the screen I got was just particularly bad and that this is not the norm for their pixel QC.

I will say that I ordered the Hitachi 2TB and it was dead silent. Also, the build quality of the machine was excellent - no burs in the aluminum or other manufacturing aberrations.
